The Talent Manager role is part of our Resource Management team. Resource Management ensures that Huron consistently provides the best possible teams to optimize results for our clients. Working closely with several key stakeholder groups, the Talent Manager is responsible for the effective staffing and utilization of all North America practice employees (approximately 400 people). The position is also responsible for supporting the talent strategy across all Solutions within our practice. The role is focused on establishing effective working relationships with key stakeholders in order to ensure client work is effectively resourced, drive business performance and maximize our employees’ experiences. The TM role is a practice-wide role reporting to the HR Business Partner Director for the Enterprise & Solutions and Analytics (ES&A) practice.
The Talent Manager is an integral part of the ES&A Operations team with responsibility for the delivery and implementation of resource management strategy across North America. The Resource Manager is required to demonstrate a high level of performance in building and maintaining a “best in class” Resource Management function within the ES&A practice while creating, implementing, and promoting consistent practices.
- Experience in resource management and staffing planning experience
- 5+ years in consulting industry or professional services industry in resource management, staffing or Human Resources Operations
- Experience with stakeholder management in a highly matrix'd environment
- Understanding of Operations and Financial Acumen
- Performance Management experience including Team and Personal Development
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel. High degree of comfort using computer software and other Microsoft business products (Word, PowerPoint, Office), including data management and manipulation capabilities.
- Change management experience preferred
Travel for this position is minimal (0-5%)
