Job Solution Group Description:

The Restructuring and Turnaround (R&T) group assists clients facing turnaround, restructuring, bankruptcy or other corporate financial matters. Developing, designing and implementing turnaround strategies, we assist companies to reorganize their balance sheet leading to the development of refinancing options. Our role includes negotiation with all classes of constituents, communication of a turnaround or recovery plan, development of consensus to confirm a plan of reorganization and evaluation of proposed asset sales, debtor in possession (DIP) financing and retention bonuses. The services provided include: business and strategic planning, cash flow management, Chapter 11 debtor and creditor services, claims management, energy industry transactions, operational improvements and out-of-court restructuring.

The senior professionals in Huron's R&T group draw on their extensive knowledge and wide-ranging backgrounds to deliver objective advice and effective execution in the corporate finance arena. We have particularly strong experience in complex transactions, in situations involving restructuring and insolvency, and in cross-border execution and emerging-markets. Position Summary:

Managers will take a leadership role on multiple engagements and are responsible for the client deliverables, budgets, deadlines and quality assurance. They will demonstrate superior client interaction with senior executives. They will have the flexibility to support clients in a broad array of issues. Managers will serve as role models for staff and develop their skills through coaching and mentoring.

Responsibilities: •
- Lead engagements with strong project & client management skills •
- Ensure overall work product quality; takes ownership for results/outcomes •
- Coach subordinates and effectively delegate •
- Develop industry/ practice expertise and consulting capabilities •
- Leverage jobs/ develops people by structuring and supervising work •
- Oversee a significant revenue base and remains cognizant of opportunities to sell

Job Requirements:

Current permanent U.S. work authorization required
BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics. MBA preferred •
Have or working toward one or more of the following certifications: CPA, CIRA, CTP, CFA, CDB
Financial Modelling expertise including building integrated 3 statement financials, LBO models and cash flow statements

Minimum of 5 years providing relevant services with the following experience: •
- expertise in the areas of restructuring, turnaround, corporate finance, business operations, banking crisis management and/or
within a specific industry. •
- Can articulate what is required to effectively manage a cash crisis situation •
- Has a clear understanding of the capital structure and the bankruptcy process •
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the following areas:
o 13 Week Cash Flow Forecast
o Performing detailed analysis in the following areas: IS/BS/CF, liquidation, insolvency, claims and valuations
o Financial reporting: Monthly Operating Reports
o Financial Reporting: Statements and Schedules
o Business plan development and analysis
o Operational improvements and overhead analysis
o Research / benchmark capabilities
o Pitchbook Preparation •
Strategic thinker with the ability to help clients assess their issues/problems. •

Must be willing to travel every week Monday thru Thursday and work from home office on Friday. Depending on the engagement travel maybe 100%.
