We are hiring a Director to join Pope Woodhead, a part of Huron Consulting Group’s Life Sciences practice. We are looking for an experienced leader with market access and pricing expertise, to service existing client need and to help build US-based presence and market.
Clients recognize an increasing need to develop commercial strategies for new brands based around integrated market access solutions, including innovative contracting and real world evidence development. Our role in supporting such solutions requires us to translate our market access expertise to commercial brand teams and help them think innovatively to design and operationalise integrated cross-functional strategies.
In addition to working across the core capability areas within PW Commercial Consulting (Market Access Strategy, Value Communications, Commercial Excellence) as a strategic project lead, you will provide leadership to projects that identify, structure and implement integrated commercial, access and evidence development strategies, working with senior clients sitting in commercial and market access functions.
You will be a core contributor to thought leadership and innovation across our core offerings:
- Market Access strategy and operations
- Managed entry agreements, contracting and pricing strategy
- Global and local payer evidence development and planning
- Payer engagement
- Life sciences, economics or business degree
- Strategy consulting background and pharma / life sciences industry knowledge – at least 7-10 years
- Versatile consulting skill set
- Tools and aptitude for supporting innovative thinking
- Demonstrable credibility at senior executive level including ability to plan and facilitate executive level strategy meetings and workshops
- Strong understanding of pharma product commercialization and access requirements
- Strong business development and market generation capabilities
- Current active U.S. work authorization
