This is a temporary to permanent position. As a project consultant, you will have the opportunity to be part of Huron Healthcare’s performance improvement team, helping our clients solve their most complex challenges. This project is focused on the hospital revenue cycle which spans from patient access through collections. You’ll work collaboratively with Huron consultants and client staff to conduct client interviews, observe and analyze processes to assess opportunities for improvement. You’ll then use that information to define the functional requirements for changes, redesign processes, and orchestrate change management for sustainable results.
This is an exciting and unique opportunity to both gain knowledge and lend expertise in this dynamic, fast-paced, and challenging role. You’ll have the support and guidance of the Huron team to set you up for success. Project assignments will vary based on your experience and available client engagements. Role requires company paid travel Monday through Thursday at locations across the NE and California predominantly.
- A minimum of 3 years experience with revenue cycle operations performance improvement within a hospital/clinical setting
- Current permanent U.S. work authorization required
- Bachelor degree
- Work extended hours as necessary
- Willingness and ability to travel every week (Monday-Thursday)
- Solid understanding of one of the major hospital information systems
