Our Research Enterprise Solutions team works with hospitals, universities, cancer centers and research institutions and helps these organizations improve every aspect of research administration performance through transformative change. As part of the Research Services team, you will work with leading physician/scientists, administrators, and other professionals connected to the healthcare, university and life sciences industries on a variety of projects in strategic planning, finance, operations, technology and compliance.

As a key member of Huron’s Research Office team, you will bring you analytical prowess and exceptional communication and written presentation skills to develop written reports and documentation that analyzes the billable nature of items and services provided in the context of medical research against the government rules for clinical trial billing. Your analyses are used in preparation for study budgeting, contracting, informed consent form processing, and charge segregation to comply with Medicare and Medicaid billing rules, mainly the Medicare Clinical Trial Policy, NCD 310.1.
You’ll be part of the Huron Higher Education team with opportunities to collaborate, learn and grow while impacting some of the most prestigious higher education institutions. You have a passion for analytics and we have rewarding career opportunity for you.
- Current permanent U.S. work authorization
- Bachelor's degree required in a health/science related discipline (biology, public health, healthcare administration, nursing, etc.) or equivalent professional experience.
- Must work within our Washington, D.C. office
- Experience in clinical research coordination, management, nursing, billing, administration, or study monitoring
- Experience in coverage analysis and/or budget development/negotiation
- Knowledge of federal regulations related to clinical research, human subject’s protection, and/or good clinical practices (GCP)
- Experience working in an administrative/ business office of a university, hospital, or research institute
